Joyce Lieberman "Trees"

I have been painting "Trees" in various degrees of reality and fantasy
for a few years now. As a kid, my favorite thing was to lie on my back on my Michigan lawn and look up through the Maple leaves to the sky peaking through. Maple, Oak and Elm were the most common basic leaf shapes. As I moved around I discovered Sycamores and Pines, Purple Princess Trees and many more. I celebrate the chlorophyll and the elegance the tree brings to any environment.
